The latest issue of “Our State” arrived early last week, and I’ve spent happy hours reading it from front to back. That wasn’t quite enough…so this morning I started to go through it again from back to front.
The “Tar Heel Image” on the very last page is a treasure and speaks well of the summer to come in rural North Carolina. Between that image and the Editor’s Letter rest pages of great stories of people, places and 80 years of publications that capture memories and dreams of our beloved state. I hope you’ll find a copy or read the magazine online, and invest some time in “building a better summer”.
