McCarthy Metal Roofing has been blessed to call North Carolina home and we’re so grateful for everything this community has done to support our business. We are always looking for opportunities to give back in whatever way we can. Below are a few of the organizations that McCarthy Metal Roofing has had the pleasure of supporting over the years.

Morningstar’s mission is to be a sanctuary where transformative teaching and healing affirms children through real relationships. Morningstar’s community counseling clinics provide mental health assessments, treatment, and medication management to vulnerable children in the community. Morningstar’s residential facility provides home for up to 52 children year round. The kids living at Morningstar are between the ages of 12-20, in the foster care system because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and have developmental disabilities. It’s our honor to support Morningstar with their needs and help them towards brighter days.

The “Shop-with-a-Cop” initiative aims to create a strong positive relationship between local police and at-risk children in our community. The program works to change the perceptions that families may have toward law enforcement while at the same time, building safer, stronger neighborhoods. We sponsored this program at the bronze level because we believe in the mission and want to see our own community prosper.

Wake County 4-H provide a variety of camp opportunities for area youth. Supporting the Wake County 4-H Youth Development program with a monetary donation means they are able to provide camp scholarships to those facing financial hardships that would otherwise prevent them from attending camp. The scholarship process emphasizes family and youth participation, which helps build a stronger community.

The Boys & Girls Club’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need help most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. They offer a range of after school and summer programs for youth ages 6 through 18.

The Habitat for Humanity of Wake County was founded in 1985. Since then, they have worked with over 500 families to build new homes in the community. They also work hard at rebuilding and repairing homes in two Southeast Raleigh neighborhoods with their Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative. This project has beautified the area and reduced crime in the neighborhoods by over 50%.

Companies Feeding Families is a food distribution program based out of Flint, Michigan. The program is operated by the Flushing Community Church and the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Truckloads of food are collected and distributed to families in need. McCarthy Metal Roofing is proud to support this program through the ongoing donation of money and food.
